The unconditional purchase of Meggitt Plc’s 65 acre factory complex was completed in January 2019 and included several short term lease backs to Meggitt to facilitate their phased exit.
The site is 2 miles north of the city centre and was allocated in Coventry City Council’s Local Plan for a mixed use development incorporating homes and employment.
Planning consent was achieved in March 2021 for 499 homes, 255,000 Sq Ft of warehousing and over 10 acres of sports pitches. Sites were sold to Persimmon Homes, Taylor Wimpey and Chancerygate and a 150,000 sq ft manufacturing plant investment was sold to London Metric.
