Located adjacent to the University of Bristol’s new campus in Temple Mead, on the bank of the Feeder Canal, this 11 acre industrial site was purchased unconditionally from multiple owners.
Our mixed use planning application for c900,000 sq ft of accommodation comprises residential, commercial, research and enterprise and student accommodation as well as a 1,600 pupil school, received a unanimous resolution to grant planning permission in early August 2020.
Despite this, our application was called in for a Public Inquiry due to Environment Agency objections over flood risk. Following a Public Inquiry planning permission was granted in April 2022.
Demolition and remediation has now commenced, handover to our development partners, which include the University of Bristol and the Department for Education, is expected in mid 2023.
